Engaged Couple Makes The Avenues at Tapestry Home Sweet Home
Knowing
that it is currently a great time to search for a
new home, engaged couple Steven Johnson, 27, and
Tanisha Beakers, 23, decided it was time to start
searching for that proverbial dream home, one that
would signify the start of their new life together.
“Price was a major factor when we were house hunting,” said Steven, who does accounting and sales for the Marshall Retail Group. “We wanted a nice home, but we had to stay within our budget.”
The Avenues marks a first time home
buying experience for Steven and Tanisha, and what
better place to choose than The Avenues at Tapestry,
a member of the ‘Triumph Neighborhoods’ concept.
The couple recently resided in an
apartment in Henderson. They admitted that they toured
other homebuilders before choosing ASTORIA HOMES®,
a choice that they are more than happy with. The couple
purchased Residence 535, which features three bedrooms,
a balcony, 2.5 baths and plenty of storage space.
“We did look at some other homes in the area and around Las Vegas, but my brother-in-law told us about ASTORIA HOMES,” said Tanisha, who works for the Westin Hotel. “After a tour, we were hooked.”
“The size we get with this house is more comparable to the price than what we saw with other homes,” said Steven. “I would say ASTORIA utilizes the space better than other builders.”
A big part of Steven and Tanisha’s
decision to purchase an ASTORIA home
was their phenomenal sales representative, Nikki Davis.
Dubbed “Superstar Nikki” by the couple,
both agree that out of the four homebuilders they toured,
Nikki ranked as the friendliest
sales agent they worked with. Her patience, knowledge,
enthusiasm and compassion went
a long way with the couple.
“Nikki was the best of the best,” said Tanisha. “We really liked her and she made us feel very comfortable.”
“We had never bought a home before so I had a lot of questions,” said Steven. “She was very patient and told us never hesitate to ask. She made the experience much easier.”
Steven and Tanisha are also very fond of the area that surrounds The Avenues at Tapestry. The community is in a growing area with nearby schools, family parks, casino resorts and easy access to Highways 95 and 215. Mount Charleston and Death Valley is just minutes away.
“It’s much cooler in the North than it is in Henderson,” said Steven. “We like that and it’s much quieter in this area of town.”
“It’s also nice that we get the mountain views,” said Tanisha. “We’re right next to Centennial Center which is cool.”
